About Us
We are Ask Alice; an online directory dedicated to making finding services for the elderly community in Hillingdon hassel free. Ask Alice makes information easily accessible to families of the elderly and those who have relatives that may be suffering from dementia or other decline. As our clients are vulnerable, it is imperative that we only advertise businesses that we deem to be trustworthy and as such, we research extensively through reviews and ensure that any businesses providing regulated activities are checked via a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
How did Ask Alice come about you ask? Well, let us tell you a little bit more about ourselves. We started life running a Day Centre for the elderly in Hillingdon, The Innovate Day Centre, which is still in operation and a thriving hub for the elderly community. We were always thinking of other ways of helping the elderly community and after being asked for recommendations for various services, we thought why not put our own directory together?
Who is Alice? Alice was our founder’s mother and grandmother who sadly passed away due to the effects of dementia in 2014. She was quite a character and would have loved that she had her own directory of services for her peers to benefit from.
We want to help our elderly community to retain their independence where possible and be able to use a trusted service to see to any needs. We also want to give families the confidence that their elderly relative is in trusted hands.
So please feel free to have a look around at some of the services we have handpicked for you!
