When Pat, our founder Lewis’s grandma, was rushed to hospital with severe dehydration, his family were told to prepare for the worst. After spending 24 hours on IV fluids, Pat, who lived with Dementia, had made a full recovery, but Lewis was left shocked by her situation and inspired to design and develop a product that would help.

After spending a month in his grandmother’s care home he realised that whilst many struggled hydrating adequately, an enjoyable treat was a much easier proposition. After consulting with carers and other specialists, he spent 18 months testing and developing the product before Jelly Drops officially launched in 2020.

Jelly Drops have since helped over 80,000 boost their hydration and health independently through this award-winning sweet.
